American Society of Civil Engineers 2017 Student Conference

The Penetron Group presents photo coverage by  Clay Wieland Photography of the 2017 Student SE Conference for the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Hosted by Florida Atlantic University’s Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering, March 16-18, 2017

Civil Goes Green

The three-day event will draw over 1,200 students from 26 universities in the Southeast region of the United States, as well as from Puerto Rico and China.

The conference theme “Civil Goes Green” references sustainable practices in civil engineering and a shout-out to March 17, St. Patrick’s Day.

During the conference, student teams will step outside the classroom and compete in a series of competitions that encompass every aspect of civil engineering that will allow them to showcase their knowledge, expertise and skills.

Students should bring their resume as they will have an opportunity to meet with industry representatives and find out about job opportunities.
